While looking back on this year, many people say it’s been a rough past 365 days for almost everyone. Dec. 31, 2011.
Watched Captain America/hung out with my best friend. Did 3 loads of laundry. Cleaned my room. Cleaned my bathroom. Made a list of New Years resolutions. Made a to-do list for tomorrow. Played piano and guitar. My friday night is so exciting.

Can’t wait until vacation with my best friend! Tuesday we plan to sleep all day. Then Wednesday we’re leaving at 2am, driving to UC Irvine and exploring for a few hours, renting bikes (mostly me trying to learn how to ride one), going to a handful of cool locations, and then staying with my friend who lives in Irvine. Oh, and I convinced my mom to buy me champagne for new years. Mind you my parents don’t drink whatsoever (last time they drank was on their honeymoon almost 30 years ago), so this was a surprising task accomplished. Thanks mom. Mimosas for new years, hell yes!!

I forget the date since I'm on break.
Today has been a filled with getting my oil changed, tires rotated, and a new battery installed in my car in preparation for my and Lexi’s trip. I’ve also destroyed a gingerbread house, rode a motorized barbie car, and ate way too many honey nut cheerios. Life’s good.

I may be ready sooner than I thought. Im scared as hell, but excited all at the same time. The key is to take it as slow as possible, and enjoy the little things that are usually overlooked. Slow and steady wins the race, right? I hope so.
